Rehab-Clinic Haus am Stalten, Steinen

The Haus am Stalten was founded 30 years ago and is situated at 700 meters altitude on a southern slope of the Black Forest in the border triangle Germany - France - Switzerland with an unobstructed view to the Swiss Alps. In addition to competent conventional medical care, the whole spectrum of Anthroposophic Medicine and natural medicine is offered. The wonderful location of the house on primary rock, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere throughout the facility, the silence of the surroundings and powerful nature of the Black Forest are balm for stressed and sick people.

With 30 beds in 28 single and 2 double rooms, each with its own bathroom and some with balconies, the house is kept deliberately small. Focuses of treatment are fatigue, psychosomatic disorders, cancer, arthritis, immune deficiency, asthma, allergies, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases as well as headaches, migraines and ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
Therapies: Anthroposophic therapies, physiotherapy, exercise therapy, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, inhalation therapy, diet counselling. The kitchen cooks with exclusively vegetarian wholefood products from biodynamic cultivation. Cultural events such as concerts, talks and tales evenings or excursions to cultural attractions in the area (for example, the Isenheim Altar in Colmar) are also an integral part of the therapy concept.
